EVENT NOTICE - BAND MASTERCLASS "An Introduction To The Music Industry"

Generator, the regional music development agency, has organised a Band Masterclass in Stanley, especially designed for young bands and others involved with or working in the music or youth sectors.

The session is titled "An Introduction To The Music Industry" and will provide a range of information, advice and insight into aspects of the music business, provided by a panel of experienced guest speakers:
Tom Cotton, Head Of Music at Amazing Radio
Henry Carden, Promoter
Wayne C McDonald and Joe Frankland, Generator

The masterclass takes place on Friday 25th April, 5.30pm - 8.30pm, at Stanley Civic Hall (formerly The Lamplight Arts Centre), Stanley, DH9 0NA.

Places are FREE for young musicians aged between 13 - 19, and others wanting to get into the music industry, or working with young people.

The Band Masterclass is one of three taking place in County Durham as part of Generator's "Sound Connections" programme, which is funded by Youth Music.
